New Reviews!!!
First Up, Torn Desires in A Red Hot Valentines Day.  To read an excerpt of my story look at the post before this one. 
Here are the new reviews!

Night Owl Romance gave A Red Hot Valentines Day 4/5 stars and said this about Torn Desires. "TORN DESIRES by LACY DANES shocked me and was extremely kinky." (I was unsure how to take that review at first... I decided shocking and kinky are good!!!)






Second, my late January release Being Wicked.

First Review For The Invitation
Woo Hoo!!! The first review for my short story out this month from Harlequin. I am thrilled. This review is from The Romance Studio.

A woman, we're never given her name in the story, finds an invitation from her Master to join him for an erotic hike in the woods. He also leaves her a personalized gift that she's to use to put her in the mood on the way over. Her enthusiasm to please him and the potential for exhibitionism have her dashing out to meet him in all eagerness.

A very simple plot for a story that is all about the sex. This steamy story plays out with an intensity and realism that takes the reader eagerly along on this carnal ride. This isn't a sexy story masquerading as BDSM but an accurate portrayal of the lifestyle. The heroine's obvious trust in her Master and true enjoyment in pleasing him, along with his loving dominance, rang true. What made the story compelling and not just another short story sex romp were the emotions of the heroine. Throughout the encounter, her loving feelings for her man were conveyed well and this element made the story a pleasure to read. The characterization was strong and while there wasn't a lot of room or need for plot development, I can tell you that sexually the story was very well written and left absolutely nothing to the imagination. Ms. Danes has penned a sizzling tale with strong emotion that will have you thinking about your own rendezvous in the great outdoors.
