The first about Lilly, an innocent young woman who follows her brother to a party where she sees the underbelly of London for the very first time.
The second about a widow named Grace who had her dreams of a normal life shattered by her now past husband. When she tries to start that normal life she dreamed about, she realizes she is drawn to the world of sin her late husband showed to her but is terrified by the pain it caused the first time.

i can tell each one makes u feel different too. The white one looks like it makes you feel feminine, the pink one looks like you feel fun and flirty, the black seems to maek u feel sexy. I'm leaning towards the pink because it seems to add an energy that isn't there with the other ones. And it's my favorite because of it's style!
byLacy, the white one makes you look adorably "playful". The pink one is also very flattering to your coloring and your figure. I don't think that the black one does justice to your charms.
byI like the pink. It's bold and colorful. Not crazy about the black. The cream is all right... :) Send two back and save money!
byAbsolutely the black one! and i would have to say the white one ... the reason being, i read your body language in all three photographs and the one white one gives you a sense of innocence that you enjoy 'playing' am i right??
byAlso the stockings with the black on - loved the peak ;)
xx
Let's see, we need to keep two of the three dresses. O.K. First, the gray dress stays simply because it is stunning on you and gives us a peek at the top of the stocking. You little tease you.
bySo that means we have to eliminate either the pink or the white. Although the both are lovely, I do believe the white makes your hair pop whereas the pink sort of blands it out. Therefore, although you are pretty in pink, I say take off the pink dress. In fact, for the contest to be fair, I think we need a picture of you with the pink dress off.
Good luck with the new book.
I think the pink has to go! ;o) Although it's a good colour on you I find it a little frumpy in style! The white is the best, great with your hair colour. ;o)
byCongratulations on the publication of your book, here's hoping for big sales figures! ;o)

My favorites are the white and black dresses. I like the shorter length and the colors look great on you!
byI think you should keep the white and the pink. The black dress doesn't appear to drape your frame as well.
byI thought you look really gorgeous in the pink one, so that's a keeper. Next is the white, I like the lacy pattern at the sleeve and dress ends. Very femine. I think the black one looks plainer compared to these two, but comparing to my own wardrobe, the black one wins. Warning: I live overseas :p
byOh I love the cover of 'Being Wicked'. Red and black, my two favourite colours.
Lacy,
byCongratulations on your book release! It sounds like two great stories!
I like the cream dress the best because it has a cute style and seems sexy and elegant at the same time. The black is my second favorite, though I wish it was more form-fitting on your waist. The pink is a cute style, but the color doesn't seem quite right for your skin and hair color. Of course, that could look totally different in person than online!
Good luck with the decision!

I like the beige/cream and the pink dress. The first is elegant but sexy. The pink one suits your coloring and the cut is perfect for your figure (love it’s flattering empire waist). The pink one looks two sizes smaller than the black one. I like the pink one best for how it shows off your figure.
byI really don’t like the black dress which is too short looking (meaning it looks like it was meant for someone shorter), rather than sexy-short and it looks like it could pass as a maternity dress.
I think I'd keep the pink and the black. I love anything black and you look great in the pink - I wish I did! LOL
byI'd say the pink and the black one! The pink is fun and colourful. The black is sophisticated and sharp.
byHugs,
Pearl
I like the first two. I like the pink one the most. Being Wicked sounds great!
byFirst of all Being Wicked sounds like a really good read!
bySecondly, I like the pink dress on you on you.
Lacy, I like the white dress with your coloring. Everyone should have a little black dress that makes you feel sexy and the one in the picture looks like that is the way you feel wearing this. The pink dress is nice but I vote to send that one back. Good luck on your new release!!!
byThe white one looks so innocent and (dare I say it) virginal. The pink one is hot-hot-hot! The black one is my least favorite. I think the neckline is least flattering for you.
byAwesome idea to let the public pick. Ask 20 people, get 20 different opinions.
My votes go for the white and the black.
byThe black and the white ones give you two different styles to choose from. The black one is just short enough and trim enough that it makes it a perfect little black dress for you. The white also gives you an innocent and yet sexy look. Like someone who might be unaware of just how good they look.
And both of the dresses make your gorgeous red hair stand out so much better than the pink one. And personally I don't like the puffed sleeves of the pink one.
I hope your book is a wonderful success for you! Either way, I'm getting myself a copy [smiles]
I love the white on you. It's really pretty and vintagy and does it have lace??
byLike the lacy song sleeved dress as it suggests a naughty but nice attitude. With sling pumps and a simple locket or cameo you'd be stunning.
byLUV the pink dress as it's timeless and be worn day or night. With your coloring you'd turn heads. Men would take note while women would wish they were you!
Selecting the right dress is certainly a tremendous undertaking. It was indeed very clever of you to seek recommendations by making the selection the subject of a contest. Firstly, you look exquisite in each of them. Since keeping all three is not an option, I would recommend keeping the beige and pink dresses. The beige dress fits you wonderfully and it is adorably unique. You look both stylish and comfortable. The pink dress is an easy decision. It fits you perfectly. You look stunning in it. The empire waist and square neckline complement you perfectly. The black dress is elegant as well but there are so many out there in various styles and prices you can easily replace it with something even more flattering. Moreover, you may very well have another black dress in your closet but very little or anything comparable to the beige and pink dresses. A lady’s wardrobe should have variety. Lastly, I wish you all the luck in the world with your release of Being Wicked. If its reviews are any indication of its commercial success you will be able to replace the black dress in no time.
byI think you should keep the pink and white. I love the pink dress, it looks great with your hair color!
byI say the pink or cream one. They look lovely!
byI say send the pink back! LOL
byI definitely think you should keep the pink one, it looks wonderful on you, is cute and shows your figure to great advantage. Second place has to be the cream one, I just love the lacey looking trim and the way it fits you is just so cute. It is sexy and yet you can wear it anywhere, have to love that!
byCongrats on the new book.
Hi Lacy,
byNormally, I am a black dress person. The glimpse of the thigh highs is tantalizing. However, that could be done with any of the three dresses considering they are all about the same length. I don't know if it's the way you're holding yourself in the black dress, but it is NOT as flattering. It may have something to do with the neckline, which is more of a low-cut curve, rather than a low-cut square, which the pink and white have.
The white dress is a bit lower cut and flatters your bust, while the scalloped sleeves and hem add a touch of feminine playfulness. Also you could wear any color hose---not just black---to add to that sense of playfulness, though a very light nude to match your beautiful fair complexion would emphasize your long shapely legs even more.
The pink is my second choice for a keeper. I know "they" say red heads shouldn't wear pink, but it look great on you. You could even wear some sassy hot pink heels with the black stockings and a black choker type necklace (or a little longer) for a little fun. I notice both of these dresses are gathered below the bust, so if there is no tie there already, you could even add a black scarf---say on the pink dress for a bit of flirtatiousness and to draw the color scheme together.
Nice hair style BTW. I have long hair and have been looking at short cute styles to lighten up.

Oh, and Congratulations on your release. Being Wicked looks sinfully delightful!
byJulie
Congrats on your new release!
byAll 3 dresses look stunning on you! I would keep the cream and the Fushia dress. The Fushia contrasts beautifully with your hair. Jen :)
I think the cream/white one and the black one. You always need a LBD and the lace peak of the black photo is tantalizing. The pink just doesn't do it for me...though it is a lovely dress.
byI think you should keep the pink and the cream.
bythe first two; the cream and the pink.
byAdorable is a word that comes to mind with the cream one and stylish with the pink.
I agree Robynl. Adorable and stylish for the white and pink, respectively.
