What is chemistry in a relationship? Is it a smell? A feeling you get when you are with someone? Some divine fate that says you should be together? I have no clue, but it is amazing and essential.
It is NOT attraction, because I have been attracted to many and only have had that Wow a few times and only once really hard (True Chem?). You know the kind where you truly feel there is no other... Anyway, what is that? Because at first you don't even know the person and something is there. It draws you together, even if you fight it.
Can chemistry be one sided? I don't think so, but maybe I'm wrong. What do you think?
I recently met this guy I had amazing chemistry with, but the situation would not allow for more than just an encounter. SAD. I think it is truly a crime when people pass on true chemistry. It is rare and when it is there amazing things can happen. I thought that I had true chemistry with this man. Maybe for him it wasn't, but he did express to me that he felt the same. Just gave the "If situations were different" speech... Hello... Did I just say that? Shake head... I guess what that really means is that I wasn't enough. Or he really didn't feel that bone deep connection he said he felt.
Humm.... that could be true. However, I would like to think the opposite. That I was enough... That he really was just as crazy about me as he said, but he was honorable and stuck by his commitments. Because honestly I still like the guy. Deeper relationship or not, he is amazing and my life is better with him in it. I would hate to think he lied to me. I don't think he did. Maybe I'm just being the optimist.
Kisses,
Lacy.

Lacy I totally agree with you. Attraction is one thing and chemistry another. I've had chemistry with a person where his touch, even a totally innocent touch, electrified my senses. LOL! It was amazing but rather inconvienent since we worked together.
byThe Chemistry of love - It's why your knees go weak, your palms sweat, your stomach does flip-flops and you begin to stammer.
byChemistry both physical and spirtual.......
Physical - those dizzying feelings that increases your desire to be physically close and intimately connected. Sending singles from your brain to all other organs of your body.
Spirtual - that increased sense of calm, reduced anxiety, attachment, comfort, commitment and friendship. These all develop over time and repeated contact.
Ohh... to have both, to travel down the road to commitment and a shared life. To have that healthy relationship who’s moments of intensity make for a the ingredients of a lasting love....
